8 Irish companies are scheduled to hold a Meeting of Creditors (MOC) to appoint a liquidator next week (18th - 22nd July 2016) - less than two per day.
According to their latest sets of filed accounts, these companies owe their trade creditors a combined total of E1.6m.
Figures for the year show that MOCs are down on the same period in 2015.
Between January 1st and July 15th this year, 321 Irish companies have held a meeting in order to appoint a liquidator - this is down 23% on the same period in 2015 when 415 companies had held an MOC.
